Cres na pijatu (Eng. Taste of Cres) is a new project of TZG Cres, which aims to promote the top quality local foods that the island abounds in, as well as the rich offer of Cres restaurants and taverns. In the period from April 29 to June 4, local foods and dishes will be presented through promotional channels, and all visitors to the largest Croatian island will be able to enjoy numerous events and excellent dishes.
The project is divided into weeks, and each week is dedicated to a particular food, so from 29.4. until 5.5. days of Cres lamb and cheese, from 6.5. until 12.5. days of Cres olive oil, from 13.5. until 19.5. days of Cres honey and wild herbs, from 20.5. until 26.5. days of traditional sweets, and from 27.5. to 4.6. days of maritime heritage and tradition are held in Cres, the famous Creski kaić event, which will offer seafood gastronomic delicacies in addition to many cultural and sports events.
